    Sunset Grill

We decided to go to the Sunset Grill for breakfast this morning. I had pancakes with a side of biscuits and gravy. The pancakes were bigger than my head! Before we had gotten our food, this man around the age of 40 or so dressed in a motorcycle outfit walked in. He stood there for a while and eventually turned to Bailey. I heard Donald duck talking and saw that it was him. He was talking like Donald Duck to Bailey. We all laughed and when he asked Bailey if he had scared her, she said "Kind of" and he apologized. We saw him walk over to another table and heard people laughing but we couldn't hear what he was saying. He went to the door and said "Bye!" in Donald Duck voice to us and left. Later, he came back and said, "And you thought I was gone. Didn't you?" in Donald Duck language. It was funny. Bailey thought he was the guy that played Donald Duck on the cartoons.

    Shopping

    Food Court
I generally don't like shopping. But today I was kind of in the mood for Claire's. My kind kind Mommy took me to the mall today to look around. We went to the mall and dropped by Grandpa's table. Grandpa and his friends sit at the same table every day in the mall.
    Claires
We talked and later went to Claire's. I used my gift card to buy a colorful stretchy bracelet (click to see), some pretty blue earrings which I am currently wearing,(no picture), some square earrings in different colors (no picture), and some pretty earrings in different colors with little swirls (no picture). It was fun.
    Payless
We went to Payless and looked around at shoes. I saw a few really cute pairs but didn't get them. I am comfy in my own shoes. Which I got from Payless some other time.
    Gloria Jeans
We went to Gloria Jeans, the best coffee place in the mall. Bailey got a Cookies and Cream frozen cappucino, Mom got some hot coffee, and I got a Coco Loco frozen cappucino. (click here)
    Time Out
Bailey was getting bored so I took her to Time Out and let her play some games. I watched her play them and I played one. She played this Simon-like game where you step on the buttons that light up and an alien-shooting game and a soccer game. I played a Star Wars game and watched her play the others. She had fun at the step-on-the-lighting-up-button game. She played it twice. She got 20 tickets and I made 2 for her so she got 22. She got a top, 2 erasers, and a sour candy.
    Lunch
We went to Shogun but we left because if we wanted to eat there we would have to wait an hour. So, we just went to Sonic and Bailey got Taco Bell. We went to Braums last and got some ice cream and went home. And here I am!

    Katy, Lisa, and No School.

    Katy
I went outside with Katy today. I did front handsprings on the ground. Yesterday when I went to her house we did these things where we ran into each other and hooked arms before falling backwards onto our keisters. Instead of saying "1,2,3" or something, I would say "Run", then she would say "Forest" and I would say "Run" very slowly. Then we'd run, hook, and fall. It was fun.
    "Run, Forest Run!"

    Lisa
Lisa called. I also heard she got her 1R blue or something like that. It's a tae-kwon-doe belt and she got it because she is so good! Her mom's birthday was yesterday. She had to get off because her dad was calling. But I'm hoping she'll call back.

    No School
We have no school tomorrow. The teachers are having a meeting. I am happy, but sad because I like school. And because I won't be able to finish my clay mask. We're making clay masks in art. Mine is going to be an Egyptian queen and I'm almost finished. I just need to do her hair. Maybe once it has been put into the kiln and painted and all that, I'll take a picture and put it on my picture blog. (www.jbirdpics.blogspot.com)

Katy, Gooby, and Mirand,A Big Owie, and Washing Machines and Dryers

    Katy, Gooby, and Miranda
Yesterday I went outside with Katy. Kye had gone to the doctore earlier and wasn't feeling good so he took a nap. Katy and I had everything to oursleves. We talked while we just sat around. It was very quiet and peaceful and then Bailey came out. But she behaved and did very good while Katy and I talked. She sat there swinging and listening. I heard Mom call me after a few minutes of Bailey being out, so I went up front to see what was up. Gooby and Miranda came to see me! I brought Katy up and I introduced them all and we talked. Gooby and Miranda showed us their bike tricks, which were really cool. They could ride with no hands and stuff. Eventually, Katy had to go in to get her stuff ready because she was going to a friend's birthday party. Gooby, Miranda, Bailey, and I went into the back yard and played on the trampoline until Dad got home with dinner.

    A Big Owie
I do back-handsprings on the trampoline all the time. They're really fun, and sometimes I do them repeatedly down the trampoline, over and over and over until I get to the end. Well, today I was doing backhandsprings on the trampoline. I was going great until I hit a weird angle and accidently did a back flip. That's not the worst part, though. The big owie was that I landed on my knees strangely and popped the cartilage.

    Washing Machine and a Dryer
We got a new washing machine today. And a dryer. They're both taller than me! And they're really cool because you can watch them wash! There is a little window on the front. And they're a lot easier to work with.

    Computer Stuff

Aunt Cindy got a new computer. She's figuring out how to use it. According to the e-mail she sent me, she's having a good time playing around with it. Actually, she got a lap top. But to me, they are the same. Hehe! Dad recently got a cool new printer. It prints really fast. But today, Bailey was trying to print something but it wouldn't print because her desktop printing system thing was still connected to the old printer, which is no longer there. So I had to go into the control panel and switch it. Easy..

    Who would I pick?

I have been thinking about this lately, even though there is no reason: If I had the chance to meet a famous person, who would it be? And actually, I have many people in mind. The person who would be at the top of my list would probably be M. Night Shyamalan. He is a great director and producer. He did Signs and The Village. I would also like to hear about where he came from. That would be awesome. The second celebrity of my choice would be Susan Lucci. She is such a great actress! And she is what has held All My Children for so long, beside the fact it's a great show. She's great, and so is Alicia Minshew, who is also on my list and All My Children. Most people would want to meet Jesse McCartney or Hilary Duff, not me. I would want to meet Jon Bon Jovi. He's awesome. Well, just wanted to share.

    Conway

Patrick and Pam are two of my cousin's on my Dad's side. They have been in Conway because of the hurricane affecting Slydel. They have many trees down, they said about 80%, but nothing big. Not even their shed was destroyed, which came as a disappointment to Pam. She did not like the shed!

Well, I ended up going to Conway with Mom and Dad and Bail and Grandma yesterday. It was fun except for the ride up there and the ride back. Once we were in Conway we got kinda lost because Patrick said Rolling Rock instead of Rolling Hills. And Greenbriar when Greenbriar was on the other side of town. It was funny. When we were on his friends street I was hoping he'd jump up and wave his hands. Well, he waved his hands. We got to meet their friends too. They were nice. And the dogs! They were so sweet! After they showed us pictures and stuff we went out to lunch....At 3. We ate at a barbeque place which was very good. After that we took some pictures and left.

    Summary

    Okay, sorry I haven't updated.
    Here's the scoop:
According to Lisa, Taylor's cousin was in a car wreck and has to have stitches. Katy is finished with golf until next year or something, and I have a social studies test Friday. Yay! I am visiting my Grandma Friday and my Dad is going down to Conway to see Patrick, who will be going back to his home in Slidel Tuseday. He's been staying in Conway because of Katrina. It's so sad, New Orleans has been pretty much destroyed along with the historic places in it. I might end up going with Dad to see Patrick. If I do, I'll tell you about it.
