Saturday, August 27, 2005 Sara Go Bye-Bye
If you know Sara, you know that she likes to read, likes to play soccer, and is very nice. You also might know little things like she rides the bus, has two older siblings, and won the school spelling bee. What you might not know, or maybe you do, is the fact that she is moving to Idaho. It is very sad. She and her parents and their little dog, Doogie, have been packing for Idaho lately. Her sister, who is in college, is staying here and her brother is moving up to Seattle. When I first heard about this, I was very sad. The saddest part was I heard it from Gooby, who was also very sad. I still am very sad, but I hear Idaho is a nice place, and the temperature's better. Sara said she'll still visit and stuff. I got to talk with her the other day even. She came over to drop off a book. She got to meet the dogs. And I think she liked them! Me and Sara still have e-mail, and I'm pretty sure she reads my blog often. Even though she doesn't comment (ahem...) lol.
To read more about Sara, check out some of my other posts like The Spelling Bee--January 21st, Sara's Birthday--January 17th, and Sara--May 31st. Sunday, August 21, 2005 First Day
Friday was the first day of school.
What Katy gave me for my locker... Katy gave me a bunch of stuff for my locker and I thank her for that. She gave me these cute little magnets that you put pictures in. She also gave me this little pen holder thing that I will use to hold chalk for my chalkboard and other things. Oh, and she gave me a digital clock for my locker. Isn't that awesome! Well, of course, Katy's awesome! Other stuff for my locker... I got bottom locker but I'm ok with that. All I have is a chalkboard and a corkboard and a mirror besides what Katy gave me. The school.. This is the school's first year. It's not even finished. The library isn't ready and my homeroom doesn't have all the tables we need. It's a pretty school on the outside but inside it's kinda boring. My homeroom... Paxton's in my home room. And Mrs. Blackwell is my homeroom teacher. She was Courtney's teacher when she was my age. And the lady that does Mrs. Blackwell's hair, does my hair too. Thursday, August 18, 2005 My Nose!!!
My Nose!!!
My nose!!! My nose!!! Owwwwieee!!!! First time Here's the scoop, the other day I went to Katy's and we were jumping on the trampoline. Being the long-legged scardycat I am, I tightened up when I did my flip. I was afraid I would hit Kye or Bailey since they weren't that far from me. I curled up too much in my flip and hit my nose on my knee. It hurt really bad and it's been swelling ever since. It's very sensitive. Second Time Well, yesterday I was at Katy's house and I leaned against the ladder and hit my nose. Not only was it bruised and swelling more, it was scratched and bleeding a little bit also. I am going to have a very large nose when I get back to school...lol Wednesday, August 17, 2005 A Great Story, Katy, and School.
I will start with this great story and even though it is long you should read it. It is 100% true and it happened to one of my mom's friends. Her name is Kathy and she is the head of a women's ministry called Transformations Ministries .
If you believe in angels, this will make sense to you, if you don't your mind might change. A Great Story Miss Kathy was about to take a plane to her friend's house. She had hurt her foot and was walking to the door of the airport when an Asian lady walked up to her. She said "God told me to come talk to you." Miss Kathy didn't know what to say. The lady then said, "God says to put your foot in Winnegar." Kathy had the lady spell it for her and found she was talking about vinegar. The lady added that the friend Kathy was going to see had vinegar. As she started walking towards the field, she turned and said "And God said your husband has to eat lots of pineapple for his heart." Miss Kathy watched her walk far out into the field, and disappear. After all of this, when her friend had picked her up from the next airport and was driving her home, she told her about it. Miss Kathy's friend said she did not use vinegar for anything and had none. Miss Kathy said she would just have to see. When they got there they looked in the cabinet and found a brand-new thing of vinegar. They prayed and poured it into a bowl for Kathy to soak it in. After about an hour they took it out and it didn't hurt at all for the rest of the day. The next day, when she woke up, it hurt again. And again she soaked her foot and it felt better for the rest of the day. She did this for a week and God told her to stop, so she stopped. When she got home she told her husband about it and he went to the supermarket and came back with a whole lot of pineapples! Katy Last night me and Katy went outside. We talked and watched Bailey and Kye play and told Mrs. Andrea when Kye decided to jump into the road and right in the path of a coming car. It was fun. We sat on the mailbox and chatted and did the stuff we always do. I hope Katy will be home tonight! School I am no nerd nor freak...I like school! lol. I am so ready for school to start. And I can't wait!!!! It's this Friday!!! Monday, August 15, 2005 Not much going on...
Gymnastics
I was watching this gymnastics competitiion last night and I saw this girl land a cartwheel back-tuck on the balance beam. It was so cool! I have gymnastics today at 3:30. Bailey is starting tumbling because she wasn't getting all the stuff in gymnastics. I had my front limber kickover as a beginner and she hardly has her running round off rebound. But it's ok. Lisa Lisa got a blog! yay! You have to visit it! Ifm you know me but not her, then I'll tell you, she's a great person and you'll love her blog! click here! Katy I sat by Katy during church service and afterwards it was raining. By around 7 or 7:30 it had stopped and we went outside. We climbed on mail-boxes and sat on the monkey bars. It was fun. But when I tried a flip on the trampoline, which I can usually do and land, I hit my nose on my knee. Ouch! It was ok though. We just hung out and talked. Tuesday, August 09, 2005 Lisa's Birthday
A cold chill ran down my back as I stared at the peculiar house. So large and scary, I couldn't help shaking. And the people inside were worse... I gulped when I saw the lightning strike above their house.
That's definately not Lisa's house!!! Her Party Saturday, August 06, 2005 Strange Things
Some things I find very strange... Yes, they are all real!
Life questions... Well, that's all I have for today! Thursday, August 04, 2005 Hanging Out With Katy, Megan and Her Dog, and Cafe Rue Orleans
Hangin' Out With Katy
Of course, me and Katy were hanging out yesterday. We just kinda hung out and talked. We went into my back yard and jumped on the trampoline and ran around with Birkeleigh. It was fun. She called today but I wasn't home. We might go outside and watch Kye and Bailey while we talk after dinner. Megan and Her Dog Megan came by earlier today. She brought her adorable 5-week-old chihuahua. He was SO cute!!! His name is Mocha Latte. Isn't that adorable? It was nice seeing Megan too cause she just got back from her Grandma's house. Cafe Rue Orleans Earlier today, for lunch, we went to the wonderful and delicious Cafe Rue Orleans. Mama got fried oysters, Bailey got fried shrimp, and I got fried croffish. The fried croffish dinner was so good!!! I loved it. I couldn't even finish it all it was so big. But I ate most of it because it was so good! We went to Landrys in Branson the other day and it wasn't as good, their croffih wasn't very spicy. But Cafe Rue Orleans has the best food ever! |
